From high-quality educational programs during school hours to dynamic, innovative after school programming, we serve a wide variety of students in the Detroit Metropolitan area.  Our students range from Kindergarten to 12th grade; and the schools range from strict-discipline environments to virtual learning environments.  What makes edtec schools unique is the diversity of the students we educate.  We strive to provide equitable, innovative, high-quality educational opportunities for each and every student, and we feel that the success and diversity of our student population proves that we are achieving that goal.

ACE Woodward Students Embark on First Field Trip

Former Capstone Student Enters Art Contest
A former student from Capstone, David P., who was entered into a local art contest by our art teacher, Mr. VanBrocklin, was identified as a finalist for a scholarship award. Life Skills Community Expo to be Held in April
Life Skills Center of Pontiac will be hosting a Community Career Expo on April 22nd in the school's Bulldog Lounge. Students and parents will hear from organizations about services offered, receive information on careers and information from schools about offered programs and higher education. The event will take place from 9:00 AM -12:00 PM and 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.  READ MORE...
edtec Schools Applies for STEM PD Grant
edtec Schools recently applied for the Section 99 STEM PD Grant from MDE. Funding from this grant will provide our Science and Math teachers with valuable professional development on incorporating STEM activities in the classroom. Using this funding, our schools will be participating in training from Project Lead the Way, the leading provider of K-12 STEM programs in the nation. Among the options for professional development are courses in teaching Design and Modeling, Robotics, and Computer Science.   READ MORE...
